Blended Paediatric First Aid (12 Hours)
This flexible 12 hour course meets the requirements of Ofsted’s Compulsory Childcare Register, follows the syllabus of the Early Years Framework Stage (EYFS) and enables learners to combine classroom and online learning. 6 hours are completed face to face with a trainer (Day 1) and the remaining 6 hours are completed online using an e-learning format (up to 4 weeks later).

- Resuscitation (CPR)
- Chocking
- Bleeding and wound management
- Head, neck and back injuries
- Shock
- Scalds and Burns
- Allergies and Anaphylactic shock
- Asthma
- Meningitis
- Sprains, fractures and dislocations
- Foreign bodies in eyes, ears and nose
- Bites and Sings
- Fainting
- Meningitis
- Poisoning
Suitable for: childminders, nannies, nursery and pre-school staff, after-school clubs and Foundation Stage teachers.
Assessment
The initial 6 hours must be completed in the classroom with a trainer. Learners then have up to 4 weeks to complete the additional 6 hours online using an e-learning format. On completion of the course, all learners will be given an Ofsted-compliant certificate which is valid for three years.
Duration: 12 hours
Cost: £65 p/p (10% discount available for groups of 8 and above)
Venue: We can run the initial 6 hours from your own home, a community space or from our base in Hertfordshire. The remaining 6 hours are completed online.
